7 3/4 inches, 31 pages plus ads, gray printed paper cover with full pictorial on rear panel of Oliver Ditson building. Early printing---statement on Dramatis Personae page: "First produced in London May 25th, 1878, and still continuing one of the chief attractions of the city. At the Boston Museum Dec. 2d, 1878." The title page date is 1878 and the date on the front panel is 1879. Cover is edgeworn and soiled, rear panel seperated from spine by two lower inches, quarter-inch of backstrip missing at upper edge, half-inch closed tear in fore edge of front panel, one leaf detached. va-pabx
